Still, the message that the router block persisted until I logged out the browser and rebooted the NAS I discovered the necessary ports were being blocked by the ISP and so I switched to my second Internet connection. I set port forwarding and still had the message that my router needed to be configured. One thing the help text does not mention is the possibility that your ISP could still be blocking required ports that you set to forward traffic. ![]() ![]() Iomega provide some generic steps for port forwarding on routers, but of course, steps vary from router to router.
